The Titan Competition Bench and Squat Rack Combo is a great addition to any home gym where people want to hit the big lifts: namely, squat and bench. This fully adjustable machine allows you to customize spotter arm height as well as J cup height for both squat and bench. Plus, with a bench that sits 17.5 inches off the ground, it meets competition standards. There are also non-slip footplates with a diamond-plated pattern to ensure spotter stability.
The adjustment system is pop-pin, which some people love, some people hate. It isn’t the easiest adjustment system to master, but it does get the job done. The J cups are roller J cups, which are intended to improve and customize your bar position. The rollers are made of steel, so keep in mind that your bar could get scuffed up a little (if that matters to you).
To remove the bench, simply unlock the pin. With a tripod design and transport handle and wheels, the bench easily rolls out of position to make way for you to do squats.
Most of the rack is made from 11-gauge steel and features a powder-coated paint job intended to prevent rust. Titan offers just a one-year warranty on this equipment.
